Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] DISASTER - wheel experts?

Somehow the action of either: a: putting the tire on the wheel, or b: inflating the tire to set the ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] DISASTER - wheel experts?

Similar set-up to a few BBS wheels. Always fit and remove the tyres face down as its the machine that damages the pressesd lip when the tyre is forced over it

Re: Engine bay "X" braces... do rev 5's have them?

I have X braces on my Rev3 n/a tin top. Looked like they have been there for years as they have faded/started to rust where the engine lid vent allows water to drain onto it

Re: What tool to remove 'do not remove' bolt!?

I have removed those screws countless times when opening ECU storage boxes and the trick is to use a hack saw blade and make a shallow cut along the screw head where the sloped off bit finishes and then use a large flatblade screwdriver Or simply undo using a flatblade screw driver but apply lots of...

Re: Advice wanted

Hmm I think you may be right.

I looked into a v6 conversion in the past and didn't really want to go down that route to be honest

Also for reasons unknown to me the gts is cheaper for me to insure than my also imported rev3 na :-s

Looks like I will be Looking for a gts now

Advice wanted

Morning all. I have a bit of a dilemma Cut a long story short I have owned my rev3 now for almost 2 years and I have only covered about 100 miles in it and it has been parked up for 18 month #-o It initially came off the road to sort out a massive oil leak wich turned out to be the sump so that was ...

Re: Is it just me or............

I was looking at a rev1 today whilst in traffic and it was hard to spot that it was a G plate. Think of what was on the road in 1989 and compare the mk2 to some think like an astra or escort of the same era

Re: Been to MR Toyota today

and you trust that MR T will do the job properly just because some dudes called the same name ages ago built your car? Nothing farther from the truth. In my short MR2 ownership I've seen some serious bodges done by Toyota themselves that ended up in Lukes garage. 115 for labour... gotta be kidding ...
