I think we had a pretty much similar "NO miles mr2 somewhere in france" thread. The biggest concern was - how will all the rubber bushes / washers after all those years of non useage?

Having that said, the red no mileage mr2 went for 21k euro

My grandad passed away a few weeks ago, and the X plate skoda in his garage had just over 6,000 miles on the clock.. Could be possible.

"THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR IS IN AS NEW CONDITION AND VERY CLEAN ALSO THE EXTERIOR OF THE CAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH JUST AGE RELATED MARKS
ON THE ROAD IT DRIVES VERY WELL AS WOULD BE EXPECTED
ALL THE ALLOYS AND TYRES ARE VERY GOOD, BUT REMEMBER THIS IS A 13 YEAR OLD CAR AND IS NOT BRAND NEW"

wouldn't you expect it to be almost perfect with that kind of mileage??

OK so in the motor trade I know people who offer a mileage corection service ( not that you need them on an mr2 )

I know people that clock cars with the intent to defraud,.......and I know lads who have done time for it on a fist offence (first time they got caught)

let me say apart from imports its somthing I dont do,.... but ......... & here's my point (at last).....

if I was gonna clock a car it would be to a beliverble mileage so as not to rouse suspision,..... thats the golden rule,.... it looks right to me,

but if I was buying it, like jason says, I'd reserch the hell out of it

Well Im put off by this car.

Asked the seller to take a picture of the clocks which is perfectly acceptable and also if I can take out an MOT check...

Had no reply what so ever. Dont think this car is quite right... wouldnt know for sure without seeing it though.

MOT history of this checks out against the mileage/service history. i'm tempted to put a bid in.

Failures since 2006 are as follows:

2010
Exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content at idle excessive (7.3.D.2c)

Exhaust emissions Lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits (7.3.D.2b)

2011
Advisory Notice issued

Parking brake lever has little reserve travel (3.1.6b)

Emmission readings alittle erratic

Well either someone got a bargain or they have bought something pretending to be a bargain ! Either way i hope it was legit for the buyers sake but i didn;t like the look of the drivers seat. The material is creased and stretched where they usually go. But after such little use it shouldn't be like that.

Sounds more like he's over valued it and told the last winner to sling it so he can re-list it.

Or perhaps the last winner was a time waster, didnt contact / pay up and second chance guy wasnt interested or did the same?
