hey scotty, could you tell me where you got the border bonnet and what the quality was like, car looks great, iv got the carbenfibre arches coming to me too but im a bit concerned about the radius of the back ones, they seem a bit flat on top, hopefully they will look better when you have the wheels...

the mongoose is definately boomey an motorway speeds, i swapped mine out for an apexi gt spec, its louder but sounds great and is 3 inch all the way, the berk is supposed to be fairly quiet but the tips are fairly big depending on your prefrence.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Wheel Choices - Opinions Please!
The rota torque drifts have the cool cOncave look to the spokes the normal torques don't have the with and offset to get much of a concave look, 17 8 and 9 are perfect with a 35mm offset being just about right. 8 on the front is fine.

does the inside lip follow the wheel on top (more rounded)when a proper width wheel is fitted or is the original flare not very contoured to the wheel?

meybe try mounting it on the floor in the boot and make a false floor to go over it, then you would still have plenty of space for storage.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] coil overs
koni yellows seem to be loved by everyone who uses them, they are supposed to well paired with the eibach pro spring kits too, how available are the rebuildable strut housings? there seems to be an awful lot of coilover snobbery on the us boards but i was talking about people who have actually used ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Very strange issue with the car , last three weeks
i had a problem similar to this but more severe, i couldnt boost past 5 psi without it missing horribly, after months it turned out to be some sort of gasket on the fuel rail lifting under boost and spraying metered air and fuel into the engine bay, impossible to see unless the engine is boosting un...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] coil overs
just to add to this, i have been looking into the bc coilovers but the 5 and 8 kg/mm seemed very hard, i emailed them and they said they can supply 4 and 6 kg/mm springs which they say are popular for mr2s. they seem fairly well regarded on the us boards but the roads in america are straight and smo...

pipes missing but cant see where they should be going.
I recently got my rev 3 tubby fixed after months of trying to diagnose my boost problem, it turned out to be the seals between the fuel fail and the inlet manifold, after getting it back from being repaired i have noticed there seems to be 2 pipes missing but i cant see what they are, the car is slo...

[Mk2] [Turbo] help! joining power wires inside fuel tank?
hi, i have to change my fuel pump so i decided to fit an uprated 255l/ph pump, while trying to fit it my mechanic realised that he would have to join the power wires inside the tank which seems incredibly dangerous. the fuel pump kit is rouge motorsports own kit not a walbro and the block connector ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] loss of power, blueish smoke and slow boost, am i screwed?
thanks for the replys, i ran that pipe into a bottle and ran the engine, bit of oil lining the pipe but none came out, however i did get a lot of exhaust smoke which is very worrying, i have emailed 3s for a price on an off the shelf rebuilt forged short block, bit worried about the smoke from the h...
