Personally I wouldnt touch em with a bargepole and would be better off with some quality (ie koni/billstein) struts and springs.

as soon as you said china it made me think..as for struts been there billys i had to keep replaceing every year due to leaking, and i prefer the feel of the car with coil overs would not go back to struts again but thanks for the advise mate

My friend has the £650 version on his 1992 MR2 Turbo and rates them highy. They've been on for over 12 months now and never had any issues, still look like new.

I was tempted to go for the inverted £850 versions

Each to there own.

I did read somewhere that BC & Apex are one and the same?

yes thats what ive heard really am tempted, not worried about inverted as would never heat the oil in the shock that much a bit over kill for my personal use, if iwas on track all the time then may be i would go for them,so your friend has had no probs with them?? could you ask him what the movemnet is from road to jacked off the ground as my C1s only move about an 1" which causes the car to jump abit on the road .thanks nick.

coil overs have turned up they look that fitted the two fronts tonight at work doing the rears tomorrow, only small thing is the support for A.B.S wiring is not on these coil overs other than that they are great, next i need to get some new drop link rose joints as are knocking there boobs off,
also want to get some rose joint bottom track arms but got to save for a bit after that i think thats about as far as i can go with suspension unless anyone can think of anything else, ideas welcome:
current spec:
1) BC (APEX) coil overs with pillar balls front & rear
2) white line rear anti roll bar (set full hard)
3) white line front anti roll bar (set medium)
4)rear cusco strut brace
5)front cusco strut brace
6)front full under body brace
7)front under track arm brace
8)full poly bush set
9)front inner wing braces
camber set: front -1.5
rear- 1.0
(may change these settings)
if i had not had such a clean car i would of had the shell seam welded

just to add to this, i have been looking into the bc coilovers but the 5 and 8 kg/mm seemed very hard, i emailed them and they said they can supply 4 and 6 kg/mm springs which they say are popular for mr2s.

they seem fairly well regarded on the us boards but the roads in america are straight and smooth for the most part, not like the roads around me in ireland.

tarmac terrorist could you give us your opinion when you have put a few miles on them?
