[Mk2] [Generic] Wheel Choices - Opinions Please!

Post by shortie »

Hi Guys,

I popped a post up a couple of weeks ago about putting rota torque 9's on the back of my 2, but the more i look at them, the less sure I am about how much I like them.

So, the choice now is:

17 x 8+9 Rota Torques (ET 35F, ET 35R)

Image

17 x 7.5+8.5 Rota Slipstreams (ET 45F, ET 35R)

Image

17 x 8+9 Lenso D1R (not sure on offsets but should be ok)

Image

Of the 3, the Torques are the lightest, but i think they are different specs (Torque front, Torque Drift rear), anyne know if these look the same?

Which would you guys go for? :thumleft:

Not a lot of interest in this so far, but i've been thinking all night about one thing...

Am I going to get a lot of tramlining with 8" on the front? Maybe be better with a 7?

The rota torque drifts have the cool cOncave look to the spokes the normal torques don't have the with and offset to get much of a concave look, 17 8 and 9 are perfect with a 35mm offset being just about right. 8 on the front is fine.

Do the Torque Drifts all have the extra bolt holes? the normal Torques dont seem to have these?
