Re: Question for those with high BHP mr2s...
Only 9 if they are tweaks like i did with the celica club.
Depends on Ecu and spec. If its a Powerfc on say a Basic spec 3sgte i have now done 234 so got some pretty damn close base maps
But say if it was a Syvecs or Pectel then it would be 1 per 2 days.

Accel is done through tps but if the map sensor is slow to react on the fuel table then it causes havoc with accel.
Problem found BTW it was a brass restrictor in the T piece feeding the map sensor.

Oh and if its was out of phase by 360 using the stock triggers on a 3sgte it wouldn't even run! as they cant run in 360 alone as the crank sensor has no missing teeth.
I still think there is a small leak on the map sensor pipe or a restriction causing the Accel enrichment problem.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Best EMS / ECU for 350BHP???
yup. you're right. that drops the theoretical upper range to 395bhp @ 11.5:1. still pretty solid for what the OP is trying to do. if he wants to eventually grow beyond that though, a different system would be a better choice. Can you show your working out? I'm particularly interest in the BSFC valu...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] some progress pics, GT3071R MR2
Timing map like that means nothing tho on a 3sgte as the static timing on the dizzy could be 5 degrees out at least. One would hope though a good mapper matched the static and ecu timing with a strobe light though

Re: MR2 dyno results comparison website! *Surrey rolling road only*
Can you post the AFR graphs for these kong? Would be interested to see how lean it is bottom end. Sure - I think I posted this up a while back although it may have been on the American forum rather than IMOC - can't remember now, lol. Re: PP cars all rubbish?????
Lockys car at TOTB7 did 11.91 at 116mph not a bad time, but i think the 116mph says 400bhp fly ish andy, this was 2nd time drag racing and on stock tyres, i should have stayed at home, that day intake temps were 70c ask ryan.g, i had a a scored engine with blow by and could run 1.2 bar. there is al...

Re: MR2 dyno results comparison website! *Surrey rolling road only*
If Kong did a run in 3rd like all the other graphs are then i think he will be surprised at the difference in midrange on the graph but where he would loose mid range im sure it would make more power top end. Its not a fair compairson at all when running cars in different gears espically on a DD Dyn...

The comparison wont be fair but if mr2nut123 wants his plotted that much then do it but just leave it on there for a couple of days so he can see the comparisons etc

Re: MR2 dyno results comparison website! *Surrey rolling road only*
Addtionally if steves aloud his rs tuning graph on here, does that mean mr2nut can have his on here? His was done at rs tuning as well, tho not mapped by Ryan. Paul runs them slightly different when im not around and does them in 4th gear which allow the car to make alot more torque and midrange gr...

Re: MR2 dyno results comparison website! *Surrey rolling road only*
In fairness to Dai2t, his engine is running a rev1-2 head so its always going to be an unfair comparison as with a rev3 head his car would be up another 40bhp and probably 40ftlb
