It's the one from the red beast. I think it might have a rev2 head but it's def a rev 1 base unit.

Thats the one.
Dont worry - I intend to find plenty more horses that are still hiding away inside. Its got plenty to live up to so I've got to do it justice :)

Jim, just had my car done today & Ryan told me to give you my graphs to put on his dyno. They're done at RSTuning, but he's happy to put them on his plotter.

is that 1.9bar?

that must be hard to keep traction what ever that is, straight up

an extra 240hp comes in between 4,000-5,000rpm

xxxx the bed!! That must be ridiculous. Mine can hardly keep from breaking traction in the dry with 255s on the rear nevermind another ~100fp torque

Jeeez, surely that thing only keeps traction in 5th on the motorway right???
Bloody hell
Insane!

A brief mod list would be useful, rev of car? Rev of engine? If rev1 block rev3 head for example. I take it it's a built engine, lol.

Cams?
Turbo?
Boost?
Ic, bmic, cc?
Ems?

That's prob enough.

Insane as hell graph!! I bet your passengers love you when it comes on boost!

Addtionally if steves aloud his rs tuning graph on here, does that mean mr2nut can have his on here?
His was done at rs tuning as well, tho not mapped by Ryan.

Steve did you road map this thing as well?? I can see a 475hp mr2 being ok with a steady hp/torque increase, but yours is insanely instant!! Is it controllable on the streets??? :pale: :thumleft:

Ha, it's quite an awesome pull actually! 1st & 2nd are awkward, but 3rd onwards is not to bad, although can feel it squirming a tad!!

Engine wise, it's a rev3, lightened, balanced, 86mm CP's,ARP's, stock cams, stock TB, BMIC, Power FC, 1.9bar boost.

Edit, forgot to add, nice old skool Greddy T67 turbo.

Yeah, had it mapped on road originally at 1.4 bar, then up to 1.9 bar on dyno, then Ryan came out on road with me after mapping to check it. I'm quite impressed! Stock parts FTW!

seems like old school turbo tech is kicking some ar$e!

popped your graphs on these steve, altho your graphs look insane for lag/boost or whatever (because its missing 2k and 2.5k rpm i think, so visually your graphs look insane), given the torque/hp at the rpm where this is all happening, compare yours to the more modern turbos!

you have some serious low and midrange torque advantage....
THO I GUESS 1.9BAR HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT, LOL!!!

i say old school for the win, cause your low and mid curve shapes look identical to mine, and mine kicks ass low, mid and high end compared to many of those plots! tho am running less boost!
but i do have cams to be fair!!

JDM turbos FTW!!!

Cheers for putting that on Jim.
Just bee having a play overlaying some graphs, was a bit apprehensive after seeing the oher T67 graph on there, but overlaying mine, yours, dai21t (gt30), 3sgte (gt30) and a gt35. Ours are well ahead in terms of low/mid range (I know my boost will help) But the gt30 of dai21t is at high boost (1.7bar), only 500 revs behind us, then about 80bhp down. The gt35 is similar power (at 1.4bar) but a LOT more laggy.

Quite impressed now going off that! Was expecting it to be laging behind the modern BB turbo's. Old skool Jap apparantly FTW! LOL 8)

Mine was at high boost, but Ryan mapped it at 1.5 bar as well and showed 384bhp as opposed to 391 at 1.7bar. He just couldn't get any more power out of it, said it seemed as if the inlet was restricting it, I had heard that the 205 charge cooler can be at its limit around 400bhp @ flywheel, I seemed to have proved that right anyway! May try and get a PWR chargecooler core this year, see if I can improve on what it gave last time.

I had similar, made 388hp at 1.25bar, but took 1.45bar for 403, lol.
so like you I'm using my highest number even tho my 1.25bar one sounds better, lol.

In fairness to Dai2t, his engine is running a rev1-2 head so its always going to be an unfair comparison as with a rev3 head his car would be up another 40bhp and probably 40ftlb

Paul runs them slightly different when im not around and does them in 4th gear which allow the car to make alot more torque and midrange grunt but the power graphs normally come out smoother in 4th hence why he does it. I tend to run in 3rd to keep the runs shorter and heat down on the mr2's

The comparison wont be fair but if mr2nut123 wants his plotted that much then do it but just leave it on there for a couple of days so he can see the comparisons etc
