[Mk2] [Turbo] steering rack fitting
Has anyone fitted a steering rack before? How difficult is it or should i just pay a garage to do it?
Just seeing how much i'd be saving if its just a straight forward job or a garage one

Re: knocking noise from the rear wheel area
just back from garage and turns out it is the drive shaft.
According to the garage its because my car is so low its knacked one side hence why its knocking.
The knocking went away after the cars been jacked up
but will be due back soon
so need to source a new drive shaft the now

knocking noise from the rear wheel area
My mk2 turbo started making a loud knocking noise from the rear drivers side as the car is moving.
Nothing is hitting against the wheel and nothing visable wrong from looking up when the rear is jacked.
The noise comes and goes but the knocking noise goes away when the clutch is depressed.
Any ideas?
