[Mk2] [Generic] No reverse lights

Checked the blade fuse under front bonnet and engine bay ones too, replaced reverse light bulbs and finally changed new reverse light switch and still no reverse light Any ideas guys?

silly question mate but have you upgraded from rev2 to rev 3 lights? if not check the wiring found that was the problem when i upgraded

mines a rev3 mate. Just dont know what else it could be???? gonna bridge the switch with a paper clip the moro and see if that works

have you checked the connector on top of the gearbox?

right i just checked the connector and bridged it with a paper clip and the lights came on so theres power to the switch. Once i plugged the connector back on the put in reverse the lights dont work. Its a brand new switch is well i fitted yesterday.
