Bodyworks a bit scruffy though but still has MOT and not much rust.

As above AVCR does everything you need and more basic setup works great on mr2 as you dont need to set rpm boost limit as it isnt a crappy front wheel drive car that can't put its power down

Us fuel is measured in PON (pump octane rating) not RON (research octane rating) as over here, when converted there is very little difference between our regular and super unleaded and their's.

That sounds familiar I was making 2psi of boost max and there was a wooo noise. Turned out to be the turbine blades broken off but there was still enough left to turn the compressor but not enough to make more than 2psi of boost. Only way to check is to get the downpipe off and have a look.

To turn down the boost on a MBC you screw the bolt out as this decreases the pressure on the spring that seats the ball.

Hi I would sell all the gaskets that are left for 35 pounds delivered if you are changing the valve stem oil seals you will need the cam cover gasket and it would be a good idea to change the camshaft oil seals as well. The head gasket in this kit is a steel one also. Will try and get pics up later....

Yes I bought that very set but only used the exhaust manifold, turbo and downpipe gaskets when I changed my turbo worked fine no problems. Don't think its genuine Toyota but is good quality.

Soaked them overnight made no diferance but I think the heat of welding the nuts on broke them free in the end, they were glowing red hot

Everything was going fine until we snapped 5 out of the 8 manifold studs ](*,) and could not find anyone who could supply new ones ( toyota could get them for next tuesday #-o ). So decided to try and get the snapped ones out, there was about 15mm sticking out of the head so tried the nut type stud ...

Get the gold ones sprayed the same colour as the silver ones and it will look perfect.
