We then decided to weld a nut to the stud and use this to try and get them out on the third go one came out and the last one took 5 goes and was getting very short but out it came with the aid of a 1m long breaker bar


Then discovered that the turbo to downpipe studs are the same except for the little drive bit on the end.



We thought our troubles were over but we had bent the oil return line when we took the manifold and old turbo off so we had one and a half hours of fun straightening it.




But as soon as I got behind the wheel and drove it with boost again it was all worth it
