I am hoping to replace my rev1 gearbox with a rev three box. Will it fit?
I know that the sender is different for the speedo, but the fitment is the same, so that shouldn't be a problem, is there anything else that would stop this working?

I gotta say, that's one of the best looking after-market bumpers I have seen, really looks good with that carbon splitter too!

Re: Dale on the BBC
The problem to me isn't that they want to stop young inexperienced drivers modding their cars up to dangerous (for them at least) horsepower, it's the way they seem to want to do it. Blanket banning of NOS systems will hurt more people than just the young 'uns. God forbid we ever get like Spain wher...

Re: Ball joint splitter
When mine were changed, my mate ended up knocking the old ones out with a mallet. Even then it took quite a few hefty whacks to shift them!

Mine are now so stiff that the driver side one is really difficult to move. Is there any way of freeing them up a bit?

Aren't those the ones that don't even fit on a 3S-GE?

This is the best I can do:
Some of it is a bit awkward to read and I am useless with kanji
Hope that's of use to you.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Knock on full Lock
Mine only started clunking after we had the suspension apart to replace a leaking shock, ball joints and drop links.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Knock on full Lock
It only clunks once when it reaches full lock, and once when I turn the wheel away from full lock. It doesn't make any noise when the car is moving with full lock on, is this the same thing you are thinking about mate?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Knock on full Lock
I have this too (knock when the steering reaches maximum lock and then again when I turn it back) If the spring is popping out like you say, how would you fix it?

Re: Remote Central Locking
I had something similar (but without the actuators, you don't need them as the MR2 already has central locking). However, when I finished wiring it in, I found it randomly failed to turn off the car alarm :( This may have had something to do with the wiring in the door not being in the best of condi...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] remote central locking
I added one of these to my car a while ago, but had to take it off again as it didn't turn the car alarm off when operated. All I can think is that I didn't wire it in correctly. I wired it to the internal switches and I am guessing that those don't switch the alarm off once it is set using the key....

and now AAARRRGGHH!!!! I checked my oil after a long journey only to find it is empty!!! This is insane, I did the same length journey and it didn't use a drop, now it has gone from full to empty in 460 miles (give or take). Normal day to day driving never uses a drop, and it only randomly seems to ...

My 2 passed her MOT yesterday
I had the back brake pads and disks as well as the passenger side calliper replaced as well as a bit of welding done and that was all that was needed (which I knew about before the MOT).
Still, not bad for an 18 year old car!
