Don,t do it
If you are going to have problems saving the extra £1000 or so to buy a much better car I assume you are also going to have problems paying the inevitable bills that are just round the corner if you buy the car.

For cosmetic damage settling with the other driver direct is probably best, but you have to be careful, if there is any chance of unoticed damage to the car he could take your cash and at a later date still persue you via his insurance company

Many thanks

If you rang me and started asking questions about your blub holder, I would think you were a little strange
My blub holder in the boot takes a 501 blub the same as my side lights

mopping
Hi Jon, I had a red Mr2 a whilst back, got it professionally mopped and only cost about £60, looked really good when he finished. Be careful if you do it yourself as its easy to take too much paint off, and be left with white marks on some of the edges

Not the same wheels, but the pics should give you an idea, on how the car will look. I would never have gone for black wheels on a black car, but bought the car anyway, now I love the wheels. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z36/stretchermunkey/DSC01231.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z36/s...

I have to agree with KM, Peter will absolutely not rip you off. I'm in the process of buying a Mark 1 Turbo off Peter, It's taken longer than I hoped and got a little frustrating at times, but that's down to various things, Sometimes I can't get through, or get promised a call back that doesn't happ...

I'm not sure about being twice as bright, but they work well, you can buy them in red or white. I used red ones. Can't send any pics as I just sold the car, Sorry.

LED's
Hi mate.
these are the one's I bought. Never had any probs, very bright. For me the delivery etc was spot on, although I have heard a few people were not too happy with service.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Engine problems she is going to blow????
just worth mentioning, If you decide to get a new engine put in, you are still going to have to ship the engine over to your island, so maybe taking the car to a mainland specialist would be a better idea, a more certain diagnosis, and if it needs the engine your already on the mainland, therefore c...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Finally turned to dark side
After 2 years of N/A ownership, I finally got myself a Turbo. Rev 1, CT20 turbo, Fujitsubo exhaust, Ace wheels, Apexi induction, Picked it up yesterday, runs well, just a few little niggles to sort out. I believe it did once belong to Michael Canny, Michael I'm sure you will be pleased to see it's s...
