[Mk2] [Turbo] Finally turned to dark side

Post by Stretchermunkey »

After 2 years of N/A ownership, I finally got myself a Turbo.
Rev 1, CT20 turbo, Fujitsubo exhaust, Ace wheels, Apexi induction,
Picked it up yesterday, runs well, just a few little niggles to sort out.
I believe it did once belong to Michael Canny, Michael I'm sure you will be pleased to see it's still going strong, and going to be well looked after.

Ha hah! Mitch Canny's old motor! :thumleft:

I nearly bought that myself once. Just got pipped to the post though. :(

Here it is in it's former glory (courtesy of Mitch's web site: www.megaboost.co.uk):

According to Mitch's site, they're League 037 17” Alloys.

Here's a better pic:

Just been out for a curry with EarL, he told me to look for this one.

Good to see the old girl is still going strong and looking good :)

Basically a replica of the SSR Integral A2 - they even said "Integral A2" on the side, they were just made out of a heavy soft alloy rather than a lightweight robust one :) Lovely wheels though back then, first set in the UK apparently, "champagne silver" finish.

I still can't get over how nice it still looks, I'll buy it back one of these days...
