[Mk2] [NA] boot blub ?

found a blub holder that looks like it lights the reasr boot up, it on the keft hand side in the boot in the corner, but no blub in there.

does anyone know what type of blub it will be, it looks like 2 prongs, nothing i've seen before.

rang the dealers
me " can you tell me the type of blub for rear boot"
dealers "no mate i dont know it jus tells me the part number"

if someone can give me the bulb type i can get it from a motor factor for a few pennies hopefully, but need 2 know what i need.

If you rang me and started asking questions about your blub holder, I would think you were a little strange

My blub holder in the boot takes a 501 blub the same as my side lights

mines doesn't look like a side light blub holdrer, it 2 sepeparate pins with a gap between the 2 pins,

dealer goes to me " do u want to buy a blub?" i'm like no i jus wana know the type of blub

he probs did think if he heard me right

Mine uses a 501 blub too

okies think i'l need to have another good look and try a 501 bulb, i think i've confused myself by looking at the connector and the holder at the same time,
