[Mk2] [NA] Turbo lid rain tray modification
Hi there, I've got a Turbo engine lid in SMG with the raintray attached, and wondered if the rain tray would fit my N/A engine lid? I haven't got time to have the turbo one resprayed to match my car at the moment and wondered if anyone had adapted the raintray to fit an N/A lid? As you can see by my...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] The N/A Aftermarket exhaust 'saga'
Finally, after weeks of looking for a single exit, Dan89 sold me a custom single-exit Powerflow exhaust.

I didn't like the
'flame-tip' style end to it but I polished it up and looks better now in my opinion.
Will be fitting tomorrow so hopefully goes on easily.

Re: How much to spray a bumper? ish..
To be honest, I get a local guy to do work on mine. You generally find that the smaller companies or private sprayers can match the quality you would get from a bodyshop who'd charge £250. Don't get me wrong, there are people out there that aren't good sprayers, but if you find a guy with a good rep...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] The N/A Aftermarket exhaust 'saga'
Yeh dont want any performance gains from changing the exhaust. My mid-section and backbox need changing anyway so I may aswell go aftermarket (Better sound, looks and cheaper than standard) I think im going to get a post-cat backbox. Dont want to lose the Catalytic convertor, only done a few hundred...

Re: 3.0 v6 converted MK2 on ebay
Yeh the only reason I'd whip out a turbo and fit a v6 is if my turbo engine imploded, and I just so happened to have a Camry parked up with a rear end smash and was cheaper than re-fitting a turbo engine

Re: [Mk2] [NA] The N/A Aftermarket exhaust 'saga'
 Ok im not having a Blitz Nur Spec adapted to fit my N/A. I live in quite a quiet neighbourhood and dont want my car getting keyed after everytime I want to pop to the shops of an evening lol! Thanks BLZ-8027, the 'Japspeed-esque' ones for £299 on ebay look good! For the life of me I couldnt ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] The N/A Aftermarket exhaust 'saga'
Hmm had a look on Rogue's link. Got some good exhausts there. The Mongoose for £259.99 delivered is a good deal, but I really want single exit. Seems that if you have an N/A then you either get Blueflame, Mongoose or Japspeed. I like the 'shiny-shiny' aspect to Japspeed's system which is why I thoug...

[Mk2] [NA] The N/A Aftermarket exhaust 'saga'
Hi there, I've been thinking about changing my exhaust for a while now. Ever since I had the exhaust off for Alternator, Timing kit change, water pump etc.. It hasn't sounded right (Was taken off, put back on, taken off again, then put back on again) as I had a new cat fitted for MOT around the same...

Re: na/ turbo calipers?
I think it depends on what revision mr2 you have mate.
For example, REV3 onwards are bigger than REV1+2 etc.
.
but if I remember correctly they are the same between N/A and Turbos of the same revs.

I'm sure someone who knows more will clarify.

I spotted the little red mk1 in that yesterday.
Very distinctive rear-end on the mk1.
Bet their few and far between out in the US.

[Mk2] [NA] Urgent reply needed! Front brake disc/pads removal STUCK!
Hi there, I ordered my front brakes and discs a week ago from camskill, I've now gone to do the job and within 20mins im already stuck! I've gone to remove the two securing bolts from behind the brake disc that holds the caliper bracket in place. Now they are not moving when I go to take them off. I...

Re: Anyone tried the Gmax suspension kit?...
I had the Gmax kit on my rev1 and im going to be honest...I was quite impressed for the money! Ok so if you want a track setup, go with Tein, Koni, Bilstein, D2, BC etc... but if you are modifying on a budget I would recommend the Gmax kit. It was quite stiff, but not too bad that your spine shatter...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] loud squeel when turning left
It seems to be getting worse and worse.
Now it happens when I brake, and sometimes when turning left.

My handling is suffering big time because of it.
Its so hard to tell if its coming from the front or rear when im driving it.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] loud squeel when turning left
I've also noticed it pulling to the left a lot now, but seemed to develop quite quickly, i.e.
in a matter of days went from ok to very bad.

Would a worn wheel bearing on the drivers side, cause steering pull to the left?!
