hehe

The car has been professionally converted from a 4 cyclinder 2.0 litre Turbo, into a neck bending 3 litre V6 - Toyota Engine 3VZ-FE.

Really?

Yeh, that does seem a little odd..! :?

Usually you take a much lower powered engine out and replace it with a more powerful one...?

A 3S-FE stock engine replaced with the 3VZ would make sense, but a 220+ tubby lump.....?! #-o

Totally agree, why would you replace a 2.0 Turbo with an NA V6? :-k

Yeh the only reason I'd whip out a turbo and fit a v6 is if my turbo engine imploded, and I just so happened to have a Camry parked up with a rear end smash and was cheaper than re-fitting a turbo engine

Because when it goes bang again you can buy a whole engine for £50 like I did last weekend or a full car with engine and tax/MOT for £250 like I did earlier in year.

And believe me 220hp can be surpassed with a 3vz without spending hardly any money. I've seen a 3vz go from 155whp to 205whp (same dyno etc..) with mods costing less than £300.

£1750 is a great price if its not falling apart.

and believe me, a V6 MR2 is no camry ;) and will certainly keep up with a standard rev 2 tub.

wish there was a turbo version of this engine that didn't cost millions :( 300zx TT would be awesome in a mr2, suppose the possibilities are endless really :)
