Ct26 turbo comes in with a bang, ct20 more progressive. Feels like less kick but you win further up the revs.

You can use that engine but without a loom /ecu from a turbo rev3 mr2 or later electrics would be very tricky. Intercooler is different, non turbo gearbox is maybe not best choice and then there's exhaust.

Better off starting with an engine or complete rear clip from an mr2 turbo

Fensport claim to have got 200bhp out of an st202 Celica they raced(same engine). Only major mod was upping compression with a skim. Original ecu.

Wondered if anyone had managed to fit rev1 rear wheels over the later rev2 plus discs and calipers. Reason is sort of track car based. Know the fronts don't fit but doesn't matter.

Used them on track with black billies, pretty good with not much roll. Actually thought they were softish. Put them on the road car and o my god. Even slightly low manholes had me slowing down to a crawl. Loved the low stance but tiresome if you have roads like belfasts.

If the cooling system is fine with no issues you will do well to blow up a rev3 na engine. They lap up abuse on track.
