As I've said else where I'm gutted for you... but glad you guys were unscathed. Dont know if it helps, but I have a PAS pump and steering rack and upper and lower column steering columns you are more than welcome to. I was thinking it would be good for you to have that to go with that shell on offer...

seeing niks idea reminds me of when i was younger and dafter - if that is possible - i de-greased my engine with cilit bank and a hose :oops: drowning my eletrics in the process... the motor ran like a bag of nails till we dried the ht leads out abut ten tiimes lol anyways... like i said maxa little...

if alignment doesnt dortit th prime suspects are front bottom ball joints, inner track rod ends, outers arent as prone to go, or knackered bearings in the top mounts... each part in itself is not dear, the process of elimination if you are unlucky enough to need to do a few of them, can add up. best...

harry - that is to say it is real carbon moulded over the top of the original parts rather than its a roll of halfrauds sticky tape....

this has whipped up a hornets nest... i honestly expected only one or two replies, brief and something like yes it will but it wont last or no oyu darent go past 350... quality of the leather was definately inferior to the stuff on proper Momo wheels I can vouch for the quality of th originals... iirc cheap stainless manifolds tend to break, but wasnt there a discussion a while ago about welding some bracing into them to prevent them cracking? if so where do we weld them and has anyone got any photos of one that has been braced - cheers - jay
