I know it's a long shot, but could it be from an imported Caldina GT4? No idea if they use stock Celica setup or not, but modified componants such as you describe here could have easily been changed for other specific models.
What other cars was the 3SGTE in?
If it shut itself before he could finish tinkering with the adjustment, then you can raise them manually by turning little knobs in the frunk. Perhaps raise it that way, adjust aim a bit more, and hope it's ok for MOT
I blame inept data input monkeys So do i lol. When my late 92 MR2 was being imported years ago i was even told what the plate was going to be (a K registration), the garage got the plates made then the nugget they got at the local DVLA office later on their return that afternoon had written it down...
I'd prob go for a narrower & shallower front tyre... 215/40 or something. 45% of 225 is quite a bit chunkier looking than the 40 on a 215 for some reason, didn't think there would be much in it. But smaller tyres will definately help.
Anniversary models in UK were numbered, in Blue or Silver, JDM models were not numbered and have a few subtle differences inc the steering wheel. They had a momo 3 spoke. Here's a couple of pics of the UK flyer. http://img851.imageshack.us/img851/7796/mr210thukfront.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us h...
Mine are 17x8 et35 front with 215/40 17x9 et38 rear with 245/35 Edit: Koni shocks in stock rebuildables with Tein springs. No rubbing, even on full lock etc. Few pics (not the best) to show fitment: http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/4193/dsc03536d.th.jpg http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/5567/dsc0...
Mine are 17x8 ET35 with 215/40 up front, and 17x9 ET38 with 245/35. Roll the rear and you can get some big tyres on, 255 is common on the rear but fronts would need changed regardless of offset i would think. See if you can see the fitments and i'm sure some wheel guru's will help with fitment. They...
Have any of you SA3R guys ever replaced the small centre coin/medalion circlips? I have two "coins", and hopefully getting another two from a friend. However, i will need to get new circlips and i'm not sure how to measure them exactly. Anybody done this and know what sizes you used? The c...
I didn't fit them, i sold them... on here i think actually. They now supply their own Koni springs which i think are -30mm. The ones sold with the kit previously were another make. They are easily enough changed, but i got friends to help me as i am a crap mechanic :( lol. The Tein springs are -37 &...
Koni inserts are £200 EACH on Fensports site... Jeez. Maybe do springs then inserts one axle at a time... or stay with factory inserts... or go for black billies? Google Koni SSK for MR2, the complete kit is allot less and also comes with springs :) http://www.dcperformance.co.uk/cheap/73057/toyota...
Got Koni adjustables on mine (inserts) along with Tein springs. The springs are as many know quite firm indeed but the stance is spot on. The shocks on the other hand are some of the finest around. They know how to make suspension. I would highly recomend them. A little play with the firmness and yo...
Thanks Jason, but i was refering to the rear one  However, i have since emailed Tein UK who have gotten back to me to state that the Turbo only note has been changed as they will fit N/A models too but a coolant pipe needs to be re-routed through the bar. They kindly sent a picture and the new...
Hi Guys & Gals, Sorry for the noob like question but on a couple of sellers websites this is listed for Turbo models only, is this correct or will it indeed fit the NA too? Never seen any others listed as Turbo only. :-k Was initially looking to get a Greddy, and might still, but Tein and Cusco ...
