10th Anniversary

Post by punkrockscreech »

Morning chaps.
Looking for a bit of information please. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the 10th anniversary models and a normal rev 3?

Thanks
Steve.

Im looking to buy one...............

However, I believe they only came in Silver and Caribean Blue, they had a half wooden steering wheel, a numbered badge on the rear boot, something similar on the ash tray and silver door kick plates. Apart from that they are the same car.

Anyone have any other info?

There is one on piston heads for £1795 and it was of the members on here that sold it about a month ago, the guy is a bit of a dealer, really nice condition but has 6-7 owners with 116 on the clock.

I selfishly only want one so I can lump in my tubby engine and have a rare anniversary turbo so doesnt matter about the engine so much. Take a looksee but hes up in Bradford.

Good luck, hopefully we wont be bidding on the same one in the near future lol

I have just been offered an immaculate JDM silver number 155 10th anniversary. Bodywork immaculate completely standard all badges up with 98,000 on the clock, unfortunately has 7 owners any suggestions on what price I should be looking at? Thanks

You say it is a JDM, Is it a import? I read somewhere that the anniversary models sold in Japan are not numbered and don't have the part wooden steering wheel. The numbering was only for the UK market.

Mine only has 3 owners and nearly all receipts from new but this is very low for a 16 year old car so I would not be worried about the number of owners as if the history is as comprehensive as you say. When I was looking prices ranged from 1k to 2.5k.

Mine is very very tidy, but needs some minor body work.

Hope this helps

I have only just started looking into the 10th Anniversary scene, but I picked up some info about saying all silver 10th Anniversary were JDM all other Carribean blue were not JDM. I dont know what the official line is.

I have been able to negotiate a price of £1500 on the dot for the car, so it seems to sit with your suggested range so I think I will be counting the pennies ready then.

Thanks.

Anniversary models in UK were numbered, in Blue or Silver, JDM models were not numbered and have a few subtle differences inc the steering wheel. They had a momo 3 spoke. Here's a couple of pics of the UK flyer.
