Anyone ever smashed a glass roof panel?

Post by N9THX »

Had a close call when cleaning today and wondered how i'd cope if it had dropped on the floor.
Don't even know if they're easy to break?

Someone at sometime broke one of the ones of my car as it had one blue/green euro tint on the drivers side and all the rest of the glass is Jap bronze. I have 3 spare ones so no hassle haha...

Read on here or another forum that the glass is very strong, some sort of reinforced glass or something, I'd hope so, must be anyway. :)

I was once forced off the road by a hit and run driver. Hit a lampost after launching off the kerb and the roof shattered into little squares. We both walked away with tiny glass cuts to the neck.
