Good if you've got a faded red '2! Colour coded
Like those v6 conversions - would like to get a late rev5 and do the same - looks smart!

Re: I'm sure a tubby would be quicker..
Christ! I know that there are all sorts of disclaimers for track days etc - but what happens after an incident such as this? Was all the dc2's slow driving a guilty thing? Why not pull in? I'm sure I'll get some know it all answers to this, but that did look a little dangerous!! Its not tour...

Re: V6 Video Clips From Our Eurotrip With Engine Sound
Very nice - looks like a great drive :thumleft: The link to youtube also put up some other videos of the v6 and someone posted their clocks when putting their foot down in 3rd - impressive stuff, not sure how my tubby compared to that. If I get another '2 its going to be a v6 8) p.s. please lose the...

[Mk2] [Turbo] How can you lose cylinder compression?
As the title - how does this occur and why does this lead to an engine being 'blown'? Does it still run?

Re: REV3 TUBBY AND AN R32???
Yep - lacks mid range grunt, depending on what you compare it to of course. Compared to an na mr2 the tubby has lots, but ive had plenty of situations where the car has been off boost or just punting down a dual carriage way etc and put my foot down and thought "damn - where's the power!?"...

Re: best sort of coolent?
As far as i knew any old Ethylene Glycol based coolant is just fine, the garage i use suggested that its not worth paying a huge premium for 'special' coolant. I had mine changed about a month ago with halfords stuff and guess what?
....nothing!! Seems to do exactly what it said it would.

Think Simon at YVS has great rep, iirc Andy Forster & co go there. Never heard a bad word said mate. I'd second that, honest bunch of chaps, know the cars inside out and prove it on the strip without any fuss. http://www.yvsperformance.com Yep - simon is a top chap, very honest and seems to kno...

Re: REV3 TUBBY AND AN R32???
Very nice cars imho - having driven a mk5 r32 - probably not as a quick to 60 as most tubby's - but which would you choose? The engine sounds superb, it's got loads of mid range grunt (something that the mr2 severely lacks) and i thought it felt very planted as it sailed around corners thanks to the...

[Mk2] [Generic] Tein kits - top mounts?
I'm looking at some Tein Super Street Damper Kits - what is the advantage of the upper mounts kits over the standard kits? there's about £200 difference?

Donington Park 17/05/2008 - pictures!
Superb day out; courtesy of Andy-Runner - cheers Andy :thumleft: The only shame was that the weather wasn't as dry as it could have been - not that it mattered a great deal and it was a great experience for me and after being a passenger in Andy's car has certainly encouraged me to give it a go at a...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Hot brakes
Does sound just like the sticky caliper is back! Ive had both the front nearside and offside calipers do this to me in the last year. Not sure whether you may be better off getting a refurbed unit fitted rather than keep trying to free them up?

Wheels
I'm about to enter that murky world of pretending to be a racing driver at home... So am thinking about getting a wheel for my 360 (and no i dont want to hear about anything to do with the PS3!)
Anyone got any recommendations? Or ones to totally avoid?
