I'm about to enter that murky world of pretending to be a racing driver at home... So am thinking about getting a wheel for my 360 (and no i dont want to hear about anything to do with the PS3!)
Anyone got any recommendations? Or ones to totally avoid?

Re: Wheels
there are only like 2 or 3 worth getting and they are the official microsoft wheel and the mad catz wheel.
i no u dont want to no about the ps3 BUT if u do have 1 u would be better getting a wheel for that eg the logitech G25 it comes with metal pedals including the clutch pedal and a H shifter for the gears

Re: Wheels
i think most 360 exclusive racing titles are built around the official wheel so its definitely the one to go with.
Re: Wheels
How do you use these things?
Do you rest them on some kind of table?
I simply cant imagine feeling comfortable with one!

Re: Wheels
It does rock a bit forwards and backwards but the important side to side is obviously fine because its pretty stable in that direction.
Certainly works better than my old annoying setup of a plank of wood across the sofa!

Tried one on my lap once and it moved all over the place. Then I tried one on a little table and it fell off a few times. Went back to the control pad after that lol.
