Very true, did look at a few Tubbys...wasnt many decent ones about in my area and havent found a decent mechanic yet !! Thanks - but thats not going to work cant see any of it ! :-k At the moment I can still use the remaining half to match up with the broken half in the lock to open\lock the door then the spare key to use in the ignition. ](*,) Knowing my luck - small bit of glue = completley ruined lock and more tea...

Worn topmounts cause something described as "bunny-hopping" where even minor bumps cause the car to become very skittish and feel almost like it will change direction without your help! ;-) That sounds like it ! The car is also pulling to the side...Who do I get to check these and ball jo...

Hi My '2 has issues at about 80 mph lots of steering wheel shake. I have recent tyres with the standard alloys. The car will veer with the bumps and the tarmac changes in the road. Ha ha in Falmouth too... :shock: I am one of the many 'pink' :oops: (red neglected) n/as driving round, there are quite a few now I notice. I have put my car in Mr T at Parklands, Brooklands (truro), Lucas (falmouth), Eastwood (penryn) - wouldnt recommend any to be honest. Falmouth Tyres are good......

Thanks for your relies guys.

Sent it back to the garage, seems to be fixed, their explanation was a dodgy alternator replacement.

Seems to be okay at the moment
- except now i have a waterfall coming through my t-bar
!

Hopefully the garage checked the battery before replacing the laternator at great expense

Hi four warning lights appeared on my dash and I was losing battery power, was infomred probably alternator and went to the gargage who confirmed it was and put a new one in. Lovley. Except the warning lights have come back and the battery is dead again ! Lights would start going out at about 2,000 ...

Hello I was drivin home in my Rev 1 tonight, normally, and then all of a sudden 4 of the warning lights came on...engine bay cooling fan, malfunction light, low oil and battery light. They flashed off and then all came back on at the same time. Now all on permenantly. Stopped checked levels etc, oil...

Everyone calls my car a hairdressers car ! And yes a lot of old females do drive them and I know 2 female hairdressers with mark 2s !!! Even parkers mentions the hairdresser reference - "Well proportioned and well finished, it has been accused of being an easy option and a bit of a ‘hairdresser...
