Re: The hunt for an exhaust

Can anyone confirm that the end box on this is a catalytic converter? Bit confused by one of the feedback comments for the seller.

Re: mk3 radiator in a mk2?

Jam, did you notice a difference and would you recommend this Rad? I need to replace mine. Can anyone recommend any better ones for a similar or lower price. Thanks. Yes I would defiantly recommend it. Only difference between this one and my old one is the new one doesn't have steam coming out the ...

Re: mk3 radiator in a mk2?

Alloy rad is £99 on ebay plenty of us run them without issue Just bought and fitted this one, it's perfect except the upper drain plug is awkward for bleeding the system. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261634630120?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Personally I don't think i...

The hunt for an exhaust

Having trouble finding a replacement exhaust for my Rev 4 MR2. Looking for a OEM or "standard replacement" cat back system for not silly money. Any ideas where I could get one from? Tried eBay but they are all either for Rev 1/2 or chrome performance ones with silly price tags. Local Allpa...

Re: new member, couple of question.

Mine sits at 1500 - 1700rpm on a normal day when first started, but if it's really cold outside then it can be as high as 2000rpm.

Re: mr2 autotrader prices?!

You'd get a more accurate view by looking at completed listings on Ebay etc.

Some of the prices for cars on Auto Trader are mad, lot of the time people end up accepting an offer far below the high asking price.

Don't you just need some copper grease on the back of the pads?

Re: 'oem' ish radiator

You need to measure the size of the core on your current radiator before buying, as there are two different sizes. When measuring it do not include the plastic/metal end tanks or side frames.

New Spare Wheel?

When I bought my MR2 it didn't come with a spare wheel.

Any ideas where I can get a replacement one? Tried eBay but they all seem to be for MK3s.

Re: High Idle?

You could try the temperature sender. If this is faulty it doesn't know when to apply or shut off the choke settings. I believe this is the green bodied sensor fitter to the coolant outlet of the head, just above the gearbox. I think it was about 30 from Mr T, it cured my idle issues I'll check tha...

Re: Does anybody know this car?

Any car with a catergory A,B,C,D means the insurance company will not paid out on a claim for repairs or if you write off for your car... they will only cover the other car or party for damages. I would not touch it My Mini was listed as category D after an accident, yet the insurance company still...
