Come to use my car the other day (MK2 MR2) and side light work and high beams works when flashing somone but no dipped beam ????


Any ideas why it would stop working i think the fuses are ok under the bonnet

no mate its like the clutch is not fully releasing meaning it wont go in gear i will restart the engine and it will be ok then restart the engine again and its the same again not going in gear???

Just been out in my 1991 N/A mr2 mk2 and working fine turned the engine off
After restarting the engine the clutch does not fully disengage??? Restart the engine then all ok could this be air in the system and if so how do you bleed it

I had an old 206 like that it sounds like the clutch isn’t disengaging proper???

Try bleeding the clutch as with the 206 it was a stretched clutch cable!!

i agree i have always loved mr2's mk1 and mk2 not too keen on the mk3 / mrs

I know i would have liked it with the original but just thought it was a good price as its got a toad alarm 96000 miles with service history all receipts or all work ever done and old mot's to prove millage and I paid £750

Can i ask another question please as i am new to mr2's when the car has warmed up does the temp guage just stay in the middle or does the temp guage go up then fans come on then goes doen only asking as mine just stays in the middle
