[Mk2] [NA] mr2 clutch problem

Post by richard1984 »

Just been out in my 1991 N/A mr2 mk2 and working fine turned the engine off
After restarting the engine the clutch does not fully disengage??? Restart the engine then all ok could this be air in the system and if so how do you bleed it

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean that it's slipping?

maybe a leak in the system...slave cylinder/master cylinder...or the clutch is fubar'ed...try bleeding the system, not a very nice job really...or you can get a standard Exedy from fleabay for around £120...about another couple to get it fitted by an mr2 specialist...how long have you owned the car?
