Re: [Mk2] [NA] probloms with replacing the convertor
the car is a 1990 UK Spec mk2 NA, so u r right it sure is an early car. Wow..... what a revelation. so in essence she actually does not have a convertor. much ado about nothing. What does a resonator box do anyway? my primary goal was to get some HP boost by removing the convertor. so the question i...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] conversion of 1990 MK2 NA to Turbo - is it worth it?
djpkins, no chance of a V6 conversion. i would not trust the mechanics with that. what they intend to do is (a) pistons (b) ECU and a bolt on turbo with an intercooler. they do not plan to change the clutch which they feel should work just fine. nor do they plan to touch the suspension. i want to do...

unfortunately not many turbos available here.
also engine swaps not possible here in mumbai.
will have to do with upgrade only.

[Mk2] [NA] conversion of 1990 MK2 NA to Turbo - is it worth it?
Friends, my garage has been recommending that i upgrade my 1990 MK2 to a turbo. i recon this will need a series of mods starting from the air intake and maybe even the clutch etc.. is the effort and the money really worth the performace upgrade.............. what benefits can i expect. if yes then w...

[Mk2] [NA] which downpipe to go with a REMUS exhaust
I have decided to replace the stock exhaust on my MR2 MKII Rev1 1990 with a Remus exhaust. I considered the Mongoose but decided against as i am not so much into big sound but instead want maximum BHP gain instead along with refined sound. i have also decided to do away with the Cat Converter. my qu...
