Re: Window adjusting

Do you mean soft brushes that can be removed to get the glass out? If so they are there. Bu the one nearest the rear of the car doesn't sit flush against the glass anymore.

Window adjusting

I swapped my drivers door yesterday due to a bit of rot. After f@*king about refitting the glass for ages the glass is still not sitting right. It's a little too far away from the door frame when closed. Is there any way to adust them? ](*,)

Rear light reflector fitment

I cracked the corner or mine changing a bulb.

Are they rev specific? Or are they universal? i.e. will a rev2 fit a 3?

im pretty sure they will but want to make certain.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Spring and bush options.

Replacing the worn black billies for some Yellow ones. Going to do the springs to. I don't want Tien as had them on the last car and found them too harsh And do want to keep the cost down. Looking at Apex ones but not finding many recent opinions as to how good they fit, build quality and ride. Also...

Jumping Speedo

Noticed last night that the speedo needle was jumping all over the place. It'll hold on a constant speed for a short time but then will jump about wildly. Sometimes up sometimes down. Alo more noticable at higher speeds of over 50 mph. I've had an issue since I bought the car. When I'd start it it w...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Hel Braided lines

Any one using these? I went to fit mine earlier and the rear ones didn't look like they'd fit properly. I've used Goodridge on my old 2 and they included the bracket that bolts to the inside of the wheel arch. These didn't have that and looked like they'd flop around too much. Have they supplied the...

Hense the preemptive . should have realised but was looking for info on pads so must admit I didn't pay a lot of attention to disks.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Brake dust shield.

While reading up on brake pads I've seen a few removing the dust shield from around the disk. Like this one: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=133948&highlight=dust Is there any benifit to this other than asthetics? Is there any downside? Please go easy on my if there's a very simple ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Brake pads.

I do appreciate that this has been extensively covered and have done a lot of searches. The thing is, the results are good, but a few years out of date. I'm looking to replace pads and lines (my stock disks have plenty of life yet). I'm drawn to either Yellow or Red stuff front and Hel braided lines...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Hesitancy issues.

Had a shed load of issues recently. Basically the car doesn't run like it used to. I recently changed the timing belt (twice, the belt skipped a tooth ). Once that was changed the car felt OK, but a little hesitant. Changed the dizzy and rotar arm (Leads are a year old, plugs are only a few mo...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Releasing the 19mm bolt in the bottom pulley

Any one know if it's common for a belt to skip a tooth? Talking to a mate after I'd done it and he said a lot of the belts he'd changed on MR2's had skipped a tooth after being fitted.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Releasing the 19mm bolt in the bottom pulley

Off and belt done. Gun didn't make a dent in it. In the end we jammed a screw driver in the fly wheel and the old man held it tight while I gave it a kick. The rest was just a fiddly xxxxxx xxxxxx as usual.
