[Mk2] [Turbo] Hesitation

I am getting a really big stutter/hesitation on half throttle betwen 3-4k rpm. It does not no it on full throttle and does it just as the boost starts to build at half throttle. Any ideas? leads/plugs/dist are all new. Lambda sensor?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Front Bumper Help!

Yep. I will acquire a standard front bumper first and then hunt for a lip. At the moment my Veilside is ruined and is missing the splitter, so needs changing ASAP.

That is perfect. Nearly like a mini-Veilside, without the length. Well found. Just got to find one now. Any ideas?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Front Bumper Help!

Afternoon, My Veilside Bumper is now officially beyond economical repair after one to many incounters with speed bumps. Now my problem is i do about 400 miles a week in my MR2, and i have really had enough of being worried about where i go in fear of hitting my front bumper as it annoys me so much. ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Whats the best front lip ?????

How do the lips fair clearance wise? I have just moved into a new place with some rather steep speed bumps and my already battered Veilside is not much longer for this world. Guess they are much better as they are so much shorter in the nose?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Anyone with a tubby with a mongoose exhaust?

I Have one on mine, decatted, and i love it. But i will argee it does drone a little, but not to badly. Its really nice and quiet when low speed crusing around town, but responds really nicely when you open it up. I would highly recommend it.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Death Rattle?

No its not been rolling roaded. I know becuase i work with the guy. It only has a cat back pro speed exhaust which wont do much. I removed the rocker cover and had a look, nothing seems out all as it should be and then rattled everything else with no result. I think it maybe the water pump as on clo...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Death Rattle?

In had an encounter with a 2002 standard WRX Impreza yesterday and i could not get past him and it was all very level. Which worried me as the are only 227bhp and i woul accpect my tubby to be pushing 300bhp. So i popped the engine lid to check everything was in order and i can hear a rattle coming ...

Really like those, but not sure about the gold with your colour car. Perhaps black/darg gun metal would look better? I to have been toying with the idea of gold with a polished lip. But not sure about it against SMG.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] My Tubby-A Casual Smoker?!

When the oil seals on my turbo went everytime i came to a stop and the revs dropped to idle a cloud of smoke would come out as oil was released past the seals then it would stop smoking completely and sit there happily. Is it doing this?

Fitted. Looks great. Gauges into but not yet wired as rain stopped play. Was a bit of a challenge finding the starter wire as there appear to be several with similar characteristics to it on the multi meter. But all done now, very please.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] tyre pressure monitors

Great toy, but not sure I would pay £300. My main concern however would be that I would imagine, there are no pictures however, that to monitor the tyre pressure the sender screws onto the valve. Well I had 2 rubbish metal dust caps that came on the car when I got it and they lasted 2 weeks before t...
