£300???!!!

Give me the £300 and I will come and check the tyre pressure for you every few weeks

Might be good on a track car so you can monitor your pressures as they will change due to heat etc wont they but think I would rather spend the £300 on something else :)

Not fitted one but it`ll probably cost you the price of valve and balancing on 4 wheels, ideal for track use. :thumleft:

Great toy, but not sure I would pay £300. My main concern however would be that I would imagine, there are no pictures however, that to monitor the tyre pressure the sender screws onto the valve. Well I had 2 rubbish metal dust caps that came on the car when I got it and they lasted 2 weeks before they were stolen. Imagine how long a great shiny sender would last? Not long. Great for track perhaps, but not for a daily driver that gets parked anywhere.

Think the sender unit goes inside the wheel and replaces the valve.

Thats good news then. Could not see an illustration of where it went. Would be a very cool display to have in the car though.

A few of the tyre places I've been to over the past 12 months have put disclaimers up about these, basically a "we might break them when we change your tyres, if we do it's your problem, not ours" kind of thing.

I like the idea if theory though.

That would be great for racing/test days.
