Re: No Boost - Rev 3 Turbo

I don't believe it! Tested the actuator and all was well. Thought i'd see if the DV was at fault so disconnected it and put all the pipework back on for the standard DV and jobs a good'un. Seems the Bailey DV was venting all the boost to atmosphere. Sorted. Blue_5 thanks for your suggestions Cheers ...

Re: No Boost - Rev 3 Turbo

Yes the wastegate was closed and still sprung. I'm not sure how the actuator works..... I'm going to pressure test it tomorrow and see if it hold pressure or vents its..... if its the later I guess I have my answer. If it hold pressure then I'll have to take the exhaust side off again and see if the...

Hi Danny

ATSracing.com do a Tial 38mm external gate conversion (Listed as Greddy upgrade kit $575)...... getting one of these for my TD06, when I go to the US in the next few months..... honest mister customs officer I take my external wastegate everywhere I travel... so I have nothing to declare.

Re: Rev 2 Brakes

I think you get a larger master cyliner, with the willwood brake conversion..... if you go for 4 pot calipers front and rear.... I think its supplied to provide additional space for the fluid required to push out more pots (16) than the OEM 6.

Re: Uprated Cams

Hi Cliff The basic advantage of putting upgraded cam on your car is: Increases valve open time - which in turn increase the amount of air and fuel going into the cylinder, and therefore gives you more of a bang.... so more power. the disadvantage is that depending on how wild the cams are, the idle ...

Have you thought about some radiator / cooler protection..... similar to the front rad protection you can get?

Also

Would your thermo plate have an adaptor for an oil temp guage?

Cheers

Re: New Brakes?

or if your looking at something more sport minded, hi-spec do 4 pot calipers for the front with groved 285mm disks and 280mm rear groved disks (oem size rev 2 plus)

for around 780 - 800 quid
