New Brakes?

I want some new brakes on the car, fried them driving a little too fast so i want some better performance ones... would it be an advantage fitting some of a tubby or should i look at sports ones? also what price am i looking at?

I assume you have a NA MK2?

If so what Rev? The rev 1's have pretty poor brakes as standard, The Rev 2 onwards are very good. Worth getting hold of calipers and Discs from a Rev 2 Onwards.

Both the NA and Turbo have the same Calipers fella!

or if your looking at something more sport minded, hi-spec do 4 pot calipers for the front with groved 285mm disks and 280mm rear groved disks (oem size rev 2 plus)

for around 780 - 800 quid
