A car is reborn
Almost the year to the day that my son blew up the engine in spectacular fashion, the MR2 has finally moved under it's own power again. http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c232/jonjeffryes/MR2%20Project/P4179087.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c232/jonjeffryes/MR2%20Project/P4179090-1.jpg http:/...

:D Another Saturday at the garage.....deep joy, after the euphoria of getting the new engine running....it's down to reality to work toward recomissioning the car as it's sat for over a year. I thought I'd struck lucky as my local breakers had a mk2 MR2 just in. I thought I'd be able to take the clu...

the old engine is already out all that needs doing is fitting the new engine and plumbing/wiring it up. You can manage it on your own if all else fails. I've just installed the engine in my car using jacks. I jacked the cam belt end first attaching the engine mount.....then attached the gearbox and...
