It runs....but with a couple of little issues

Damn, just when you think it's done...another little issue crops up.

Everythings back together, but the o/s gearbox driveshaft oil seal leaks like the Torrey Canyon (showing my age here) as does the sump (corrosion)... here's a nice little '#bronzed photo that highlights the oil leaks:-

...and probably a better view here:

The sump is leaking from the front vertical just to the side of the level sensor..rust being the issue:-

Does a rev 2 turbo sump fit a n/a engine if I block off the (oil cooler??) pipe sticking out the side of the sump...there's one on EBAY and I cannot find a n/a sump at the moment.

Also, where can i get the d/s oil seal?? none on EBAy so is it a toyota dealer??

I've ordered the UK style rear plate and started cleaning the car properly in readiness for the MOT

Which, once the MR2 is on the road...will allow me to take the Fiat off the road for a damn good sort out!

Try TCB for the seal, he might even have a second hand sump :thumleft:

Sumps surprisingly not too expensive from Mr T, IIRC.
