I need to get a new clutch along with new inner drive shaft boots, was just wondering if there's anything else that should get done/changed at the same time that might be easy to access?

Long term storage >1 year
Hi I am looking for some advice on things to do to get the mr2 ready for over a year in the garage.
I was thinking handbrake off, axle stands, battery out.
I won't be able to start the car for over a year as I will be going abroad.
Any help much appreciated.
Chris

Hi, as above I was doing some work in the frunk of my mr2 today and noticed these two connectors. I am just wondering if anyone knows what they are for? http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z375/meggs88/th_IMAG0037.jpg http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z375/meggs88/th_IMAG0036.jpg Thanks Chris

Re: Mr2 turbo V E90 M3 @ Crail 1/4 mile
It's a manual he's got.
I think m3 is about 1700kg, Mr2 is about 1300kg.
They are amazing cars, I was a passenger in it for a couple of runs and it was a beast, a v8 that revs to 8500rpm!!!

Basically he beat me more times, but my fastest time was just faster than his, when I say just, i got a 13.221 and his best was 13.249 only 0.028 in it. I thought it was going to be close but not that close. P.s he is running ...

If any of you guys are getting rid of your air con pipes, then I may be looking for a set, as long as the are useable and from a rev3 onwards?
Thanks
