Hi, I have had my car rolling roaded and while the BHP figure is good, I was expecting to have a higher level of torque.
313.5 BHP - Engine
269.5 BHP - Wheels
258.6 lbft - Torque
Is this about right? is there anything that can be done to increase the torque without going much higher on the bhp as this is near the limit for the CT20B is it not?
Thanks
Chris

Retard the exhaust cam 6 degrees.
Water/meth injection.
Power FC.
Maybe 1.3 bar.
320rwhp possible with a reasonable increase in torque.

I'd say the figures you have are good/normal for your mods and performance!

I wasn't expecting the bhp to be as high as that, but i thought the torque would be nearer the bhp figure, but if it isn't broke....

What do you gain by retarding the exhaust cam? I keep reading it aids spool time. Would you lose any power throughout the rev range?
