Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Aerodynamics

the greddy is more of a lip than a spliter, as a splitter has to extend under the car a certain amount, eg to the front bulkhead :)

i would need to do some research, but if nothing but air can lift over 500 tons of a380 and cargo, im sure there are benifits to be had 8)

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Aerodynamics

not a race car, it will be used for road, track drag etc,, the car will be getting sticky rubber and handling sorted, but every little helps :) That diffuser is a tad expensive, a bit overkill for me, il need to have a look at mounting points and spaces to see what i could make/modify to fit. the fr...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Aerodynamics

Change the suspension, lower the car and get some sticky ar5ed tyres... far better than trying to rely on wind to make you stick to the road !! if everyone thought like that, we would never have developed flight, you would be amazed the power that air has mate, especially since im in the ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] ST205 vs Cinq

i suppose, i intend to have a 10 ltr tank in the frunk, so the rad wont have to work as hard.

Il check my local company see if they have one in stock :)

i dont wanna order form ebay, im sick of that place ](*,)

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Aerodynamics

the underside doesnt need to be flat for a diffuser to work, it will improve the airflow with a smooth underside though.
A diffuser in theory should complement a front splitter, offering more grip and handling.

Was hoping someone had done something similar before

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] ST205 vs Cinq

thats the kind of answer i was looking for, not just " use the cinq one becuase we all have " ](*,)

cheers mate, il do some research into rads to see if there are ones that might fit ith a little less parts required, if not il get a cinq one

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] ST205 vs Cinq

an amalgamation of all 3 :)

will be doing all, as its just a fun car, not a daily driver.

will prob just get the st205 rad as from what i can fathom its more efficient, but only time will tell.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] ST205 vs Cinq

but then, why buy a cinq rad, if the st205 one is more efficient and can be had for less and is easier to fit, its all relative :D

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] ST205 vs Cinq

im in scotland, so aircon is very rarely needed, so ditching it and saving power and weight :)

ive heard the 205 one is more efficient than the cinq rad, and if it is i would rather have that tbh.

But would like to know for sure :thumleft:
