Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Upping my boost

Id gamble at 15psi but thats me, if headgasket goes its an excuse to put a rev3 gasket on dont forget a colder grade spark plug too!! if you ha...

Re: Uprated Alternator???
Hello guys, I have just finished my speaker set up (for now :P) in my car and according to the spec sheets of my amps, speakers and sub, i am pumping through a lot of power so i think its time to start looking for a "better" alternator. (for those audio heads out there, yes, i will be doi...

Re: Issues again
Hi folks.. I'm pondering what is going on. Today I was driving into work and my car sounds like a rotary engine so possibly running on 3 cylinders. Now I thought this may be related to the huge amount of rain.. I thought it could be my turbo. I covered my engine bay with a bin bag while it was chuc...

That's quite cheap. My PDK 'box is a £15K replacement if it goes wrong. :pale: This is why if I could ever afford a Porsche turbo S or a e46 m3 I wouldnt go for their fancy gearbox even though I would really want to lol If you had £85k for a TurboS (PDK) you would have enough money for an OPC warra...

Re: Rev 2 Tubby v Golf MK5 R32 DSG
why would you be impressed at that? in a straight dry (i assume) line where the r32's 4wd wont make a jot of difference you are comparing a car that weighs around 1600+ kgs and has 250hp to a car that weighs 1200- kgs and has similar power and less transmission losses. ive had a mk4 R32 (10 hp less...

Rev 2 Tubby v Golf MK5 R32 DSG
Hey people! We all know racing is bad and we shouldn't do it as it could lead to a serious accident so Ill hold my hands up and say I was in the wrong .. But anyways driving to my girlfriends house last night on the motorway at 65 mph trying to decent mpg (in the slow lane) a Golf R32 decides to app...

Re: Factory BOV, should I go back to it?
So what does the vac pipe running from the hot pipe to the sensor at the back of the bay do? Is it just for air con idle up? Have only seen it labelled up on a Rev 1/2 pic. sorry buddy you have lost me .. got a pic of what your talking about lol ? the bov's that have 2 vac lines usually just have a...

just how it is like on the stock bov!
the 1 you got only has 1 vac line (like my one did)
the reason i got rid of my 1 was it failed (the material aint all that) the super sound bov is alot stronger

Re: Factory BOV, should I go back to it?
Just pulled my BOV off and stripped it down, seems air tight but all the rubber is brittle and cracking, certainly not A1 condition. Do I just block off the vac pipe from the BOV and the vac pipe from the hot pipe or reroute them? http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k622/n9thx/20120703_183307.jpg h...
