thanks for the advice,i still dont know what was causing the problem,i guess it was a bad connection somewhere because i unplugged and contact cleaned all the connectors i could get too and the problem has gone away

yeah thats it,the guys only down the road,he said he'd fit it for me when i pick it up if i want but hes got a blitz ecu for sale as well which would probably be better in the long run as i guess more workshops will have the software to do work on the ecu if i need to in the future

no,its the same company but a different part,ive seen those BEE R rev limiters on you tube,this is the actual ecu,its called BEE R POWER BUILDER,dont know anything about them tho so i'll probably go for somthing more well known like a blitz access

my 1993 gts has just developed a miss between 4000 and 6000,it pulls perfecly up to 4000 and then it sounds like the wastegate is open until 6000 then its fine again,it doesnt play up when i gradually drive it through the revs,just when im accelerating hard,any advise would be great!
