no,its the same company but a different part, ive seen those BEE R rev limiters on you tube, this is the actual ecu,its called BEE R POWER BUILDER,dont know anything about them tho so i'll probably go for somthing more well known like a blitz access

yeah thats it,the guys only down the road,he said he'd fit it for me when i pick it up if i want but hes got a blitz ecu for sale as well which would probably be better in the long run as i guess more workshops will have the software to do work on the ecu if i need to in the future

for that kind of money you could get a mappable ecu, just have to pay a bit extra for mapping :-k

You will strugle with the blitz too. Go for a apexi Power FC for a cheap option as lots of people can map them.

It's been fitted with a Techtom PCB and this is a common way to mod these ECUs.

They can be modded but you have to swap out the £4 EPROM chip with a new chip. (they unplug/swap quite easily as long as you are careful not to damage anything else in the ECU)

All the ECU program code and maps are in this chip. It's got some basic scrambling of its contents which is there to stop people copying the mapping.

However, I wouldn't bother buying it (or the Blitz) unless you know someone willing to descramble it and burn you a new chip.

I've descrambled several Techtom ECUs and they usually only have minor mods to the code, eg removed speed limiter, raised overboost fuel cut, raised rev limit, and some minor tweaks to the fuel/ignition maps.

In other words, they are overpriced for what you get (unless you work out how to descramble/mod the EPROM chip code. Every ECU has different scrambling)
