marty, it defo was worth the wait. although, ive used my saving to get it back on the road meaning i just dont have the cash to keep it now. :(

[Mk2] [Turbo] ignation wire plug for push start

the plug that connects to the ignation barrel, where you would plug in the turbo timers. as anyone got a picture or can tell me which wires are for the ignation its self please as i am looking to install a push start button. i have the relays etc in the kit i bought so just need this last 2 wires ch...

mine was doing similar but only in 5th gear when i boost.... now it just wont start :(

only mods its got that could poss be related would be induction kit and boost guage. dont think the turbo timer would effect if or the water temp guage.

get single led bulbs though, dont get any of the ones that have 2+ on each unit as they tend to blow very quick

changed the rocker but problems are still happening. ive also just canged the spark plugs,. then this morning the car would not start at all.

i have dissy, roter arm to fit, and new leads will arrive tomorrow.

i am fitting blue print parts (adl)

seems that changing the rocker cover gasket has done the job... just been out and after a few hours of letting it all set in, give it a good drive ;) ... all seems ok at the mo :D

rocker cover fitted... their was 3 large splits in the gasket that also didnt look like their was any instant gasket round the rocker etc... when tightening the rocker i started in the middle and worked my way out, did this a total of 4 times as it got its self a better seal. ill go have a drive aft...

taking the rocker off tomorrow after work. gasket needs replacing anyway. once thats done ill see how it feels. if that dosnt work then im passing it onto a garage

just taken my plugs out, my first plug, the one on passanger side nearest dissy is covered in oil. im thinking this could be the problem.

ive cleaned it up and refit the old plugs for now to see if the oil comes back. if it dose, anyone know where this would be coming from??

right, sorted out this problem. reset ecu, been out and the car splutters really bad in 5 gear when accelorating. i loose all power, accelorator dose nothing, the car splutters slowly to about 40mph, if i keep foot on the accelorator a little it will stay about this speed for a few mins and then wor...

my fault code is flashing - 2, 4, 3, 1

would this be a fault of 24/31 or 2 faults of 2/4 and 3/1?

main reason for post was to get the right sized adaptor and best location for it, peter give the information but i located it somewhere else for time being. i will how ever relocate when i get my new hoses etc.

not really looked into these yet, but you could always mount it on somthing inside the centre console... so that when you open it and it drops down, it is in full view. hidden when closed
