get single led bulbs though, dont get any of the ones that have 2+ on each unit as they tend to blow very quick

Already purchased 4 of the above bulbs in blue. Will see how I get on with them. The add says "long lasting life"

Ah well, I'll just replace them with different ones if they go. cheap enough to replace.

Thanks for the reply!

yeah, had a look on ultraleds. That's where I have ordered the bulbs from for the heater backlight and air con buttons. The 501 bulbs for the speedo I got from ebay.

Hi Red,

Smaller than the ones I've used as mine are 26mmx12mm, although some people have had trouble getting them to fit height-wise.

Hope you got these ones as they give a perfect spread

Don't bother with the ebay kits for the ignition ring either, normal 30p 286 bulb looks like this...although I've got some Y shaped smd bulbs for that and the ashtray now

What did you use for the indicators?

Same bulbs? And what about the green plastic cover, was that changed?

Hi JohnnyC,

Just 286 blue Leds, same as all the warning bulbs, ignition and ashtray. Just plug and play, no need to remove the green as it seems to have no effect. I did originally change all the warning lights to blue too but they didn't come out too well, orange ones could hardly be seen, red ones came out a pale purple. When I take the unit apart again I might have a play at removing the coloured plastics and just changing the hi-beam over to red.

These are the ones I went for

Sorry for all the ebay links but it's quicker than ebay to photobucket to imoc.

marc mate, they look pretty nice. Mine are the ones with 4 small LEDs on one bulb.

These are the ones I bought:

Mine are 5W same as yours but 4 leds per bulb.

I reckon mine may be too bright :-k
