Didn't notice much difference. Only that it adjusts much higher than the original seats. I found i needed to wind it down to pretty much its lowest setting to get a comfortable driving position and i'm only about 5'9.

I did this a short while ago. I used the mk3 rails and drilled and cut off the little bolt through tags on both rails. Turn the screw clockwise to raise the fuel cut and anti to reinstat it.
I just wired it up at the ECU connector. Nice and dry.

Although from my exerience, radio interference related to engine revs tends to come down to poor earthing.

If i remember correctly, the switch is only a 2 pin so if you wanted to be 100% sure before you got a new switch, short out the 2 pins and switch on the ignition.
