[Mk2] [Turbo] Japspeed or mongoose exhaust

Hi was just wondering whether its worth changing my mongoose exhaust for a japspeed one with 4inch exits for a few extra horses and better sound?
I've heard that the mongoose has a reputation for quality and they are quite rare now. Any advice would be much appreciated.

[Mk2] [Turbo] power fc fuel cut

Hi all, does anyone know if the power fc controls/eliminates fuel cut on a rev3? I'm having it fitted and mapped next week and wanted to know what boost I can run. My engine and turbo are stock with bolt on mods. Cheers in advance

[Mk2] [Turbo] error code 52- knock sensor

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this subject. I got error code 52 from the ecu the other day, and was wondering does this mean I am getting knock in the engine or is the knock sensor damaged? As I thought if you were getting knock the ecu adjusts timing/adds fuel to counteract...

[Mk2] [Turbo] fuel filter

Hi all, does anyone know how to change the fuel filter on a rev3? Do you have to empty the fuel tank or can you just clamp the fuel lines? I have only a basic knowledge mechanics but wanted to try and see if I could do this myself. Cheers in advance

injectors and fuel rail

Lol. Thanks for the info guys. Tbh I probably was being a bit optimistic with 400hp and I know that would be pushing the stock lump past its limits. I think for now I will just get in touch with my local tuner for more advice about the power fc and supporting mods, but stick to 320hp until I look in...

Yeah actually I would probably be happy with 320hp. Still be a quick car. Trouble is you get used to it and want more power :D [/code]

Tbh that was a silly question. Was pretty sure the stock turbo couldn't handle that kind of power. Cheers

injectors and turbo

Thanks for info. I'd be more than happy with 350-400bhp as I'm running standard internals. Do I have to upgrade the turbo to achieve that sort of power?

Oh ok, mines a rev3 converted from a rev2. Do I have to bore my rev3 rail to fit 800's then or do they fit straight in? Cheers

[Mk2] [Turbo] turbo upgrade

Hi, does anyone know how much it costs roughly to upgrade the ct20b to a hybrid unit with billet compressor? Or is there another aftermarket turbo that fits the oem downpipe? Just trying to keep costs to a minimum :?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Injectors and fuel rail

Hi all, does anyone know if I have to change the fuel rail to fit 850cc or higher injectors? And what's the max hp you can get out of the stock rev3 turbo injectors? Thanks
