Re: [Mk2] [NA] What length drop links for 30mm drop?
when i swapped from coilies to stock suspension it came with lowering 30mm springs i just brought some standard links to go with it no issues.
IIRC the longer links where at the front and the shorter ones where on the back.

Hope this helps

I shall hopefully get it on this weekend and going for a dyno run on the 18th of next month and see what she is like then :D Lol yes a t78 is not the size of a squirrels scrotum its massive, im trying to find out what the difference is in the compressor wheel a/r ratios of the ct20b and ct26 seems t...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] toyo sports intercooler???
Disconnect the BOV. That will sort out the lag between shifts. If you can actually notice the lag before boost, dumping the entire volume of air from turbo to throttle body through the BOV each shift or lift isn't going to help. I don't have a BOV can't run one with the AFM in place.... im not comp...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev 2 mods and fueling
Well i always run super unleaded or vpower when its decent price, yes I appreciate that the mapping isnt the same for the uk. I only thought that the difference between the ct26 and ct20 was the exhaust housing was modified and allows to get the gas out quicker and the compressor is exactly is the s...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev 2 mods and fueling
From what information ive got about from the internet and the previous owner was that the ecu Removes fuel cut, raises rev limit to @8k rpm, more aggresive fuel map, mapped for running 1.2bar(18psi). timing should be set to 8 degs though thats all i was told I see so you think i could be running to ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] i want 300bhp ish :P
So... There two opinions. But which is right? I am planning to block the bov for track day usage and open for daily driving. Would it be good idea? I will be using CT20 at about 1bar of boost. why not just use the standard toyota recirc valve as it does the job as required its not weak, I dont see ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] toyo sports intercooler???
Here is how my intercooler from toyosport setup the hoses are the wrong size had to modify them and the angles from where it joins the throttle body cut into it and close the gap and tig welded it so I gave myself the best chance of fitting the kit. I also used 2 of the 3 stock boost hoses. https://...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] smokey under heavy acceleration
lol, if you managed 270 driving economically then there's something wrong with your car! You should be seeing nearly 100 more than that to a tank on an economical trip like a motorway run. Also, 1 bar on the stock intercooler? What are your intake temps like? Im not on stock IC im on the fleabay ic...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] How difficult is changing the Turbo Elbow/Cat/fitting Decat/Downpipe??
It was a 4 hour job with me and a good friend the support bolts and rusted,
I took the downpipe off in 2 bits and ditatched the bellhouse mouth from the cat itself.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What can you do with the stock ECU?
Running that kind of boost on the ct26 isnt the best idea as past 15 its just slamming hot air in, im sure the torque when it first spooled up was pretty epic. The stock fuel cut on the rev2 is 12psi and with a defender takes it upto 15/16psi once again and iirc doesnt the rev2 run out of usable map...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev 2 mods and fueling
Thanks for the advice peter, ill see what the 20b does on 15-16psi when i get the gasket done.

If i had the spare cash to hand i would swipe it from you red and palm your hand with silver.
thanks for the heads up thought
