not entirely sure on colour, have residue on the back bumper from the smoke, its only under heavy acceleration, um mods are mbc set to 1 bar, and exhaust (unsure of make) and induction kit

All turbos run rich as standard to save the engine, when you see the smoke is it when you change gear and are right at the redline or is it constant?

Get someone to follow you to see what colour the smoke is and when it is happening.

lol, if you managed 270 driving economically then there's something wrong with your car! You should be seeing nearly 100 more than that to a tank on an economical trip like a motorway run.

Also, 1 bar on the stock intercooler? What are your intake temps like?

See my AFR when i had it dyno'd a couple of weeks ago Im suspecting lambda sensor but going to try a couple of other things before i get to that.

I will try a proper eco run no boosting and see what i get when i next fill up i thought 200 miles to a tank was very poor :( for day to day driving comparing from a corolla Tsport and getting 330 and 450 at best.

Toyota obviously thought it was a good idea, rev3+ have them fitted as standard. Can't hurt but make sure if you get one the pipes & fittings are large enough to cope with turbo blow-by (12-15mm ID).

Anyone got pics of them fitted? Is it better to block off the hole in the intake pipe and have the can seperate, or have it so the blow by goes into intake(if that's possible)?

had the 2 in at hyper tech, in bonnybridge 2day, good bunch of lads... my turbo has had it, needs replaced, and a compression leak test discovered a 20% leak on all cylinders into the engine... bore wear, or piston rings? not a good day, so much for the engine being a recon
