G-Limited MOT Decat

Quick question guys. I got my MOT today and have got a decat fitted. I've got a N/A rev 2 g limited. Will this be considered as a non cat test?

Also i've recently put a UK 3sge engine in. Would that make a difference? Should i tell them this?

Thanks

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Coilover Problems...

Manage to sort out all problems today and all is well! :D

The Camber issue I just loosened the strut bolts and pulled it straight and tightened again. Simple issue.

And the passenger side rattling was due to the drop link being loose.

Thanks for the feedback guys.!

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Coilover Problems...

I haven't taken them for alignment yet since I still haven't put the back coilovers on yet. How much is it roughly? And do they sort the problem out? I used the old bolts from the old struts to hold in place, since no new ones were supplied. Nop never had any collisions. Just got the top mount off a...

[Mk2] [NA] Coilover Problems...

Bought a set of FK Silverline's in April but only just fitted the fronts on Monday. Car was fine no noises or rattles. Two days after drivers side started to rattle. I tightened everything up including drop link. And raised the height. Then I noticed the top of the tyre tucks into the arch whereas t...

[Mk2] [NA] Replaced Engine. Flatspot/Delay When Accelerating.

Recently replaced the engine in my rev 2, bought from a MR2 Specialist. 100k With Service History. However it seems to feel laggy compared to my older 3SGE. Also had a new timing belt, clutch and oils, fluids changed. When accelerating it doesn't feel as the power goes straight to the wheels. And ha...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Bottom End Rebuild?

Thanks for that Peter. Going to try and grab an engine and stick that in. Would love either a V6 conversion but being a student there's no way lol. I was thinking about the 3SGTE but not sure. Do they go for the same as 3SGE's? Haven't seen none about on ebay. Quite a tight budget i've got going. I'...

Cheers

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Engine Rattle? New part recommendations?

Yep still drives fine but with a rattle that starts from 3krpm.
Hopefully getting one to look at it tomorrow.
Wouldn't it be easier to, say change the camshafts if there are the problem?
Thanks for the quick response btw. :)

[Mk2] [NA] Engine Rattle? New part recommendations?

Hey guys, quite a big problem i think i've got here. Did a high speed run on the motorway and revving quite high up. After returning home i noticed a rather loud rattling noise. And it's coming from inside the engine block. Im guessing conrod or camshaft damage? That's my guess. Any help would be gr...
