I have got some brake calipers that I am refurbishing before fitting on my car. Before I do so I want to take the pistons out but do not have access to an airline or anything like that to push them out.

Has anyone got any ideas how I can get them out?

wiring the beams up direct from the battery using relays is a good way of improving your lights
its amazing how much current is lost through switches etc.

How do you do this? Has anyone tried this and how sucessful is it?

Yes, I've already upgraded my bulbs but still think they could be improved upon. Perhaps I'm comparing to modern cars and being a bit unrealistic but I'm sure there must be a better way out there somewhere. Decided to get my wife to get me some mats for my 1a.

Anyone got any recomendations? My car is red so a co-ordinated trim may be good although I don't think I would want to go all red.
